- 1 cup All-Purpose flour
- 1 cup unfed sourdough starter
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Preheat your oven to 350 F degrees then mix all the dry ingredients together until well combined.
Add the sourdough discard and melted butter then mix until a dough is formed.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minuets to let the gluten relax.
Next place the dough in between two pieces of parchment paper and roll he dough out as thin as possible with out the dough splitting.
Remove the top piece of parchment paper and place on a baking sheet.
Cut the dough into squares or any shape that you like with a pizza cutter or pastry cutter. If you don't have either a sharp knife is fine.
Poke holes in the crackers with a fork to prevent the cracker from bubbling up.
Place them in the oven and bake for 20- 30 minuets or until edges are golden brown.
Get creative and play around with flavor combinations!
Such as seeds, herbs, cheese and more!
The thinner you roll out the dough the crispier the cracker will be. If you want cracker for dipping then a thicker version would be better.
